BrightSafe / Responsibilities

Yes you can! When creating a responsibility, you will be able to set the frequency. One of the options for frequency, would be 'One-off'.
This would mean that the responsibility would be closed once the task has been completed.
Yes you can! To reassign a responsibility, head in to the responsibilities section and select the responsibility you want to reassign.
You will then see the option to change who it is assigned to on the right.
Please note, you can only reassign responsibilities that you are the owner of.
Only admins and users are able to access the responsibilities section on BrightSafe to assign responsibilities to other users, admins or employees.
Yes you can! When creating a new responsibility, you will be asked to set a frequency and also an end date.
If the responsibility does not have an end date, the tasks will keep repeating based on the frequency set until the responsibility is archived.
A responsibility will create tasks for the user that you assign as the task owner.
A responsibility will only be completed once that task has been completed and the end date has passed.
You can create a responsibility and assign a task from it via the responsibilities section.
In here, you will see 2 options. Create a statutory responsibility or create a custom responsibility. A statutory responsibility will allow you to select multiple responsibilities from a list of templates and allow you to make changes to the frequency, the owner of the responsibility, the sites it belongs to and the task owner of the responsibility as well as an end date if there is one or if it is ongoing.
The custom responsibility will allow you to create your own bespoke responsibility. First, fill in the details including a category, reason, title and a description.
Again, select the owner, the frequency, and the task owner.
Once created, this will assign the specified tasks to the task owner allowing the responsibility owner to keep track of its progress.
You can delete or 'archive' a responsibility via the responsibilities planner.
Head in to the responsibilities section and then in to the planner.
Next to each responsibility, you can select the 3 dots and select archive to deactivate the responsiblity.
This will then be accessable via the archived filter.
Please note, only responsibilities that you're the owner for can be archived.
