Development Lead

Day-to-day responsibilities include but are not limited to the below:

  • Manual Testing (30%): Getting involved early in the product life cycle to help shape and deliver a high-quality product for our customers. Participating in 3 amigos sessions where you will help set acceptance criteria and discuss potential issues. Manually testing the solutions provided by our developers and assisting in delivering the changes to our production environment.

  • Automation Testing (60%): Learning and contributing to our growing automation library. Developing skills in new and interesting methods to help deliver the best solution.

  • Personal Development (10%): At BrightHR, growth is a constant. Allocate time to expand your knowledge, keeping abreast of the latest industry trends, tools, and techniques to push your capabilities and our solutions forward.

Required skills and experience

Essential:

  • Experience with API testing tools (Postman, Playwright, RestAssured…etc)

  • Understanding of CICD (Github Actions, Azure)

  • Displays experience of various testing techniques (Exploratory, Smoke, Regression)

  • Understanding of Database management tools and how to query data required (SQL)

  • Displays clear and precise communication skills

  • Knowledge of automation tools (Playwright)

  • Knowledge of automation framework (cypress, playwright, typescript)

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of testing google analytics

  • Knowledge of Mobile testing

  • LambdaTest
