Purpose

We are seeking a driven and commercially minded Advertising and Reward Platform Sales Manager to lead and grow our SME advertising offering across our digital marketing platform.This role is responsible for recruiting new and existing SME advertisers, managing advertising inventory, delivering revenue targets, and ensuring SMEs gain measurable valuefrom promoting their products or services to our user community.

Hours of work

Monday – Friday 9am – 5:30pm

Day-to-day responsibilities include but are not limited to the below:

Sales & Revenue Growth

  • Sell digital advertising space, marketplace listings, promotional placements, and partner offers to SME clients.

  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of SME prospects across multiple sectors.

  • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets.

  • Price and package advertising products to maximise yield and occupancy.

  • Prospect, engage and convert new business opportunities through outreach, networking and industry events.

Client Acquisition & Account Management

  • Identify, contact and onboard new SME advertisers through outbound sales, networking, and referrals.

  • Deliver consultative sales conversations to understand client needs and match them to appropriate advertising solutions.

  • Manage accounts post-sale, ensuring strong performance, renewals, and upsell opportunities.

  • Produce campaign reports and provide insights to improve advertiser ROI.

  • Understand each client reward strategy, engagement goals and operational workflows to recommend optimal platform usage.

Platform & Campaign Management

  • Oversee booking, scheduling, and delivery of digital ads and promotions.

  • Work with marketing, product, and operations teams to ensure quality and timely campaign execution.

  • Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts, and sales reporting.

Strategy & Market Insight

  • Track competitors such as Perkbox, Reward Gateway, Employment Hero and similar SME-facing platforms.

  • Track sales metrics, forecasts and KPIs presenting regular reports to senior leadership.

  • Recommend new advertising products, bundles, and pricing structures.

  • Provide insight on advertiser trends, sector opportunities, and customer feedback.

Key requirements

Required skills and experience.

  • Proven experience in B2B digital media sales, marketplace sales, or platform advertising—preferably to SMEs.

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing principles (display ads, marketplace listings, email promotions,sponsored content).

  • Excellent communicator with strong negotiation and presentation skills.

  • CRM proficiency (Salesforce, HubSpot or similar).

  • Data-driven approach with ability to analyse performance and optimise campaigns.

  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with affiliates.

  • Organised with high attention to detail.

  • Experience managing a team.
