The hide employees option will hide any employee details from other employees.
This includes their names, who they report to etc.
It will also disable features that show other employee details such as praise.
Notification settings refer to requests that you receive on the system and via email.
You will have one of two settings for each notification type, if it is referring to notifications from others, you will see everybody or nobody. This means what it says, you will either receive them for every user or none of them.
The second type is enabled or disabled which refers to your own personal notifications such as document follow ups.
If you disable notifications, this will also stop email notifications being sent to you.
As you need admin access to access the permissions section, we have removed the option to update your own permissions as this can cause complications if you're the only admin for example.
If your permissions need changing, another admin on the system will be able to adjust this.
Zapier is a 3rd party integration you can use to integrate parts of BrightHR in to other apps such as outlook or slack.
Head over to the BrightLabs section in settings to access Zapier.
As mentioned, this is a 3rd party integration and as such, Zapier is a seperate company who own the integrations and we would suggest to contact the company if you have any problems with integration.
