Yes, just go to the documents section of your account and select the folder with the team this employee is assigned to. Find the employee and click on their name then click the New folder button to create a sub-folder for them.
Yes, any documents that you upload into the folder with your company name on it will be visible to all employees added to the system.
Go to the document you’ve uploaded, click the three dots to the right of the document and select View read receipts. You’ll then see which employees were invited for a read receipt and the date and time that document was downloaded by the employee.
To do this, go to the documents section of your account and select the folder with your company name on it. Then click upload, drag and drop the document you want to add into the box and select that you want to the document to be visible. Enter in a follow up date if needed and select ‘All’ for read receipt then click upload to confirm and add this document.
Head to Documents on the navigation bar on the left.
In here you’ll see a bunch of different team folders. Click on the team that your employee is in.
Then select Upload a document from the bar across the top. Here you can drag and drop the file you want to upload, or click browse to find your file.
Once you’ve added your document you’ll see a question appear on the page: Who should see this document?
By default this would be set to admins and managers however, you can change this to everyone with access (meaning any admins and the employees managers) or specific users which allows you to choose from the employee and any of their managers.
Please note, admins will automatically be able to view all documents and documents can only be hidden from employees and managers.
Yes you can! and it's super-easy to set a follow-up date on your document.
Once you have uploaded the document, you will see the option to set a follow-up date, simply select the calendar icon and select the date.
Once the follow-up date is due, you and the person it was set for will receive an email notification, 7 days prior to the follow-up date expiry and also on the date of expiry.
Yes, you can easily rename a document on BrightHR with a few simple clicks.
First of all, click the three dots next to the document you want to rename, from the options select 'Rename' then type the new name of your document and hit the 'Rename' button.
Yes,any PDF's and images can be viewed online without having to download them.
Just head to the document you'd like to view this for and click on it - simple!
Viewing the details of a document you've uploaded is easy!
Head over to Documents, choose the folder where the document is being stored and then click on the document you want to view this for.
Here we'll give you a few quick details including: File name, Type, Size, last updated date and file owner.
