Why BrightHR? / E-learning

You are responsible for meeting your legal staff training requirements. The Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005 states that organisations are required to educate and train their employees on health and safety.
Specific statutory training requirements and mandatory training needs will depend on your industry and the risks your employees face.
Make sure you’re meeting your legal obligations by reaching out to our 24/7 team of health & safety experts who can advise you on what training your employees need to receive and when.
To access BrightLearn, you just need to be a registered BrightHR user.

Yes. The courses we offer on BrightLearn are industry standard, which means they reach benchmarks set by the governing body.
We also help you keep accurate and secure records of the training courses you have assigned to your employees, completed courses, and course progress.
Our Learning Management System gives you full control over your employees’ learning, progress, and achievements.
That means your learning manager’s role doesn’t end with assigning courses to your employees. They also get to track progress from the moment a course is assigned to when it’s completed and log the certificates your employees have received for course completion.

The specifics of what health & safety training your employees need to complete will depend on the risks they face. The Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005 requires you to provide relevant training to new employees and to seasoned employees who are exposed to new risks.
You also need to make sure your employees stay up to date with their health & safety training. That can mean refreshing their memory or making them aware of updated recommendations. Again, training frequency will depend on the industry and the risks involved, but the best practice is to retake the health & safety training every year.
