If you click manage redundancy in the HR advice section of your navigation bar, you will have access to essential resources such as our top tips on redundancy, commonly used phrase guide and webinars to help you through this process from beginning to end.
Just click the 'Essential redundancy resources' tab to access a whole host of redundancy documents and templates.
Just head over to the HR advice section of your account and click Manage redundancy. You’ll then be guided through the redundancy process from start to finish with our step by step redundancy planner.
You can give anyone on your account access to the payroll navigator by updating their permissions. To do this just head to your account 'settings', select the 'permissions'tab at the top, find the employee you'd like to give payroll access to and tick the 'Payroll' permission box next to their name. Lastly, hit the 'Save changes' button at the bottom to confirm and save your changes.
To start, head to the payroll section of your navigation bar on the left. From here select the overtime tab.
Once in this section, you will see all of the overtime that has been logged on Bright HR. You will then see a check box to the left of each entry, which allows you to easily update multiple entries at once.
Once you have decided which ones you want to mark as paid, simply enter the date either to the right of an individual approval or at the top of the page if you are approving multiple entries.
Then click the Mark as Paid button, again either next to an individual entry or at the top if approving multiple entries.
From the payroll navigator, you can generate all of the BrightHR reports you may need for payroll within your business including: Absence Annual leave summary Blip timesheet Employee information Overtime report Rota Payroll exceptions
Just head to the payroll navigator on your account and open up the 'information checker' section.
In here, you'll see any employees with missing information are highlighted in orange, just fill in the missing information and hit the 'Save' button at the bottom of the page.
When you generate any payroll reports you'll now have all of the information needed for your employees.
Just head to the settings section of your BrightHR account and open up the 'Permissions' tab.
Find the person you want to give access to the payroll navigator from the list and tick the 'Payroll' box.
Once done just click 'Save changes' at the top of the screen.
Please Note: Any Admins will automatically have access to the payroll navigator.
When it comes to documenting and communicating during a redundancy process you can never be too careful. You need to make sure you’re following due process to protect your employees and your business.
The documents you need for your specific redundancy process may include at-risk letters, confirmation of redeployment, and confirmation of redundancy letters. Not to mention all the documentation you need to complete and keep to prove that you’ve followed the legal process.
