BrightHR Grows in Leaps & Bounds to Meet SMEs’ Demand for Innovative HR Software

Since January 2021, BrightHR has been striding from strength to strength with their award-winning software rapidly gaining traction with local SMEs. As a result of unprecedented success, BrightHR has expanded into a brand-new office space by the Sydney CBD. The expansion comes as BrightHR matures into a true contender within the HR technology space.

Found on the 7th floor of 180 Thomas St, Haymarket, the Bright team has rapidly grown from 4 to 40 since January 2020. The success of BrightHR reflected a growing need in the market. The team at BrightHR are proud to have supported a total of 21,971 clients, through arguably one of the toughest years for small businesses. This valuable achievement has set a solid foundation as BrightHR strives toward servicing a projected 30,000 clients within their first five years.

"We have an amazing opportunity at Bright to build solid foundations, and this starts with our people… it's a testament to our values that BrightHR is one of the most trusted HR software/services available in the market in such a short time.” - David Price, CEO of BrightHR ANZ.

Bright's investment in its state-of-the-art office space ensures the consistent delivery of exceptional service and first-class software by accommodating growth, encouraging improved staff collaboration, and communication. In line with their mission to transform people management for small businesses by providing innovative HR and H&S software, the expansion equips the team with the tools for success, which in turn, sets clients up to successfully manage their business.

Last year, Bright experienced an influx in demand for HR advice as a result of the pandemic, with an overwhelming number of inbound enquires from clients regarding their workplace obligations. In response, Bright developed several new features to help struggling employers including:

  • VaccTrak for clients to manage vaccination recording mandates
  • VaccTrak Lite for the public, a FREE version for all SMEs
  • BrightSafe Covid-19 resources and risk assessments
  • E-learning Courses inclusive of COVID-specific learning modules
  • The Return to Work Navigator to re-open business post lockdown

As a result of these technological developments, Bright HR clients were more able to effectively communicate with their employees, empowering them to take the initiative in seeking advice and learning.

“BrightHR’s growth is a reflection of our desire to deliver an excellent tool that empowers local businesses with what they need to succeed in their own endeavours. In other words, their success is our success.” - David Price, CEO of BrightHR ANZ.
