The last two years have been a huge challenge for businesses across the globe.
When the Temporary Wage Subsidy Scheme (TWSS) was announced, business owners had to suddenly adapt to new rules, regulations, and processes. We moved fast and created a full suite of software to support employers through every stage of the COVID-19 pandemic in-line with changing government guidance.
From helping businesses manage the TWSS to giving employers the tools and advice they needed to make their workplaces COVID-secure, navigating businesses (including our own!) through the pandemic has been challenging but extremely rewarding.
And we haven’t slowed down. This year we launched VaccTrak, our online vaccine tracker, reached over fifteen million global clock-ins with Blip, and created Bright Lightning–the first AI-powered HR platform.
And as 2021 comes to an end, it’s been fantastic to see our hard work being recognised…
Personnel Today Awards
Hosted at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel, the Personnel Today Awards celebrate the best in HR, and the glitzy award dinner didn’t stop short!
The cherry on top of the night? BrightHR walked away with HR Technology Provider of the Year with a shiny award to bring back to BrightHQ!
Here’s a word from Personnel Today: “BrightHR impressed our judges with their fast and comprehensive response to the employment challenges posed by the pandemic, launching a range of products to help clients with furlough, going back to work, and tracking employees’ vaccination status.”
UK Business Tech Awards
This year the UK Business Tech Awards crowned us SaaS Company of the Year amongst some of the most exciting tech firms in the UK.
The annual awards celebrate the UK’s finest tech businesses and rewards innovative and exceptional application of technology to both transform and grow businesses.
And that’s not all…
Crozdesk who are experts in business software named us leaders in Rota and Shift Scheduling Software and awarded us an Absence and Leave Management badge amongst some tough competition.
What’s more, they recognised us as a Product Leader in Workforce Management for the second year running!
And we are thrilled to be ranked highly in a number of other national awards…
- Business Cloud ranked us 12th in the North West Tech 50 amongst some of the most exciting tech firms in the North West of England.
- TechRound’s SaaS 66 ranked us 6th out of 66 finalists, with the award recognising the fastest growing tech start-ups in the UK.
- We were placed 5th in the TechRound Top 100, out of over 3,000 applicants. The list celebrates the UK’s most cutting-edge tech companies.
- GP Bullhound’s Northern Tech Awards ranked us 18th out of the top 100 fastest growing technology companies of 2021.
To top it off we were shortlisted for The Lloyds Bank British Business Excellence Awards in ‘The inews Technology Innovation’ category, and the Prolific North Tech Awards for ‘SaaS Company of the Year’.
