Agreement on the Taking of Excessive Leave

While most employees will usually utilise their leave accordingly during the year for a holiday or personal requests, you may have staff with an excessive amount of annual leave accrued where you would prefer it to be spent rather than further accrued. For this, you'd need to provide them with a formal agreement that they will be required to sign and action.

Easily address excessive accrual of annual leave in your business

According to Australian employment law, you can direct an employee to take annual leave if they've accumulated 8 weeks or 10 if they are a shiftworker. If any of your staff have accumulated this much and you need to have a discussion with them, download our template today.
