Work-related Social Events Policy
Set the standard at company work events with a policy
Work-related events can be a great way for your teams to engage with one another outside of the working environment. However, they are famously, or infamously, well-known for ending in HR issues. To ensure your work social events stay HR-friendly, a written policy is a great idea.
It allows you to set a standard for your company, outlining your expected behaviours and best practices for managers and employees alike. While not mandatory, it is certainly a nice to have and may make handling HR issues post-party much easier. By setting the expectations before the big event you're much more likely to host an event that runs smoothyl with few hiccups.
This template can apply to any type of work social event. From Christmas parties to end of year gatherings and summer BBQs, providing consistency across the board.
