Working with animals or in environments where animals are present introduces risks that aren’t always obvious. Zoonotic diseases can pass from animals to humans, sometimes with serious consequences.

This course explores how these diseases are transmitted, where exposure is most likely, and what preventative measures are effective. Hygiene, handling practices, and awareness all play a part.

Understanding these risks is essential for protecting both personal health and the safety of others in animal-related environments.
